1986-1996年,在西北农林科技大学先后获得学士、硕士及博士学位。曾在武汉大学(1997-1999)、香港理工大学(1999-2011)和美国Oklahoma州立大学(OSU,2012-2014)做博士后/研究员。历任武汉大学生命科学学院副教授,OSU动物医学院研究型副教授,芝加哥Illinois大学(UIC)医学部终身制助理教授。2011年回国至今,现为澳门永利集团3044教授,深圳市“鹏城学者”特聘教授,深圳市地方级领军人才,深圳大学领军人才,深圳大学优秀学者,深圳大学优秀研究生导师,国家自然科学基金委医学部一、二审专家,美国心脏学会会员, 美国生理学会会员, 中国生理学会会员,Scientific Reports杂志编委。2018年11月至今,任深圳大学血管病研究中心主任。先后主持国家自然科学基金重点培育项目1项、主持国自然面上项目3项、参加科技部重点专项1项,参加国家“973”重大研发项目1项、参加农业部转基因专项1项、主持深圳市科创委重点研发项目3项、主持深圳大学多学科交叉创新团队项目1项,到账总经费上千万,发表论文84篇(H因子24),授权发明专利5项。

当前主要研究方向:
1. 肺动脉高压发病机制及药物治疗研究:重点研究非编码RNA(lncRNA和miRNA)在肺动脉平滑肌细胞的异常增殖/迁移、肺血管重塑及肺高压发生发展过程中的表达、调控、功能及作用机制,筛选有潜力的治疗肺高压的新靶点,并利用中药来源的单体化合物进行肺高压的预防或治疗研究。
2. 肿瘤液体活检技术的研究:利用课题组领先的循环miRNA直扩PCR技术和正在完善的血浆甲基化cfDNA捕获及测序分析平台,建立针对肺癌、乳腺癌和结直肠癌等常见肿瘤的早期诊断、预后评估和疗效检测的新方法。
